Yes, Starlink has been awesome. Turn it on anywhere we are located and in a minute or so high speed internet! even works well with the boat spinning around at anchor. We also the use WiFi calling feature on our phones to call and text so don't need to have cell coverage :)
I'd say about 80% of the boats that were in the Broughtons had Starlink. as you are starting to get into the real backcountry up there. It's great for entertainment, streaming video/audio, etc. But also peace of mind from a safety aspect. So awesome to be able to instantly check all sorts of weather reports online, access information for repairs if needed, stay in touch with family or call for help.
Ray and Anne, we were Rving in the Port Macneil area when you were cruising the area. The weather at the north end of Vancouver Island certainly can be cooler and wetter than the mid and south end.
Your adventures and Anne's photographs are always interesting, and being filmed and experienced in and around our beautiful islands and coastline makes them all the more enjoyable !
Just curious on logistics. Are you able to use your Starlink dish during this tour. If not, what is your internet source.

Very interesting. Seems like you are getting your Canadian dollars worth with Starlink, pricey as it is.
